Description
CALLICHLAMYS LATIFOLIA
Callichlamys latifolia member of the Bignoniaceae family and is a native of Southern Mexico to Southern Tropical America.
This is a beautiful, long-lived vigorous climber that becomes a liana in tropical situations and has rich golden yellow terminal trumpet shaped flowers with red streaks in the throat. The flowers hang in spikes over 300 mm long.
It is evergreen, is bird pollinated and the trumpet is nectar filled.
It is great for a pergola or conservatory or a robust fence to support it.
