Description
JASMINUM SAMBAC FLORA PLENA
GRAND DUKE OF TUSCANY
Grand Duke of Tuscany is an evergreen shrubby climber 3 metres. It is slow growing but with large semi double flowers. In most cases the flowers generally dry out on the plant. Regular watering for optimum growth is the best way to go. BUT Jasmines do not like soggy conditions.
Grand Duke of Tuscany is the plant that the flowers are used to flavour Jasmine tea.
Grand Duke of Tuscany needs to be grown in full sun or dappled shade and needs some protection from frost on the coldest nights
SOILS: The vine will enjoy most soil types but prefers well drained moisture retentive soil.
PLANTING: Dig the hole twice the size of the pot and plant level with the surrounding soil. Water in well.
CARE: Prune after flowering and this will produce more flowers the following season. Fertilise after pruning and mulch well to conserve water.
ENJOY THIS FABULOUS JASMINE!
