Lonicera x americana is a member of the Caprifoliaceae family and is a hybrid between two European species.

This Honeysuckle is one of the best in the species with its large fragrant flowers that are cream/pink/yellow coloured and appear in large trusses.

The flowers appear from spring to autumn.

It is a vigorous climber that is much more resistant to pests and diseases. It can grow to 3 metres if need be or can be retained as a shrub with pruning.

It prefers full sun but will do well with some shade.
