Clerodendrum quadriloculare is a member of the Lamiaceae family.

This is a spectacular shrub of the Clerodendrum species the flowers are fully 150mm in diameter and flower in profusion.

It grows to around 2 metres x 3 metres and the foliage is in itself a feature with dark green leaves with a deep maroon under leaf.

This plant is a butterfly attractant as a nectar source for adults and a food source for caterpillars of a number of species of butterflies
