WHITE LADY BANKS ROSE
Rosa banksiae alba plena is from the Rosaceae family and originates from China. It is a vigorous climber with rich green foliage on nearly thorn-free slender branches that grow to a height of 3.5 – 4.5 metres when trained as climber. It can grow to large proportions if allowed.
It is a miniature, double with white blooms that have a slight to very fragrant and in profusion. It flowers in late winter into spring and early summer. It blooms on new wood so prune it early.
It is frost, heat tolerant with low water requirements. It needs to grow in full sun for best results.
It is a great climber for arbors and arches.
