BRAZILIAN CORDIA
Cordia superba is a member of the Boraginaceae family and is a native of Eastern Brazil.
It is a very floriferous white flowering evergreen tree bright white flowers that contrast with its deep green foliage.
It grows to around 3 – 5 metres x about the same width.
It flowers at any time of the year and are most prolific in late spring through to autumn.
It prefers full sun to partial shade and fertile sandy soil with good drainage. It is heat and drought tolerant but needs summer moisture to perform best.
